Creating my blog was an experience I have longed for some time, but I didn't have either the opportunity or the necessary knowledge to put this into practice. Most of my students spend their time sharing ideas and posting comments on different blogs, but unfortunately not too often in English.
Having created this blog, I also have the chance of being closer to my students, and why not to their parents. Using this blog may be a possibility of bringing all these factors of education together, namely the teachers, the students and their parents. The idea of creating special sections for each category mentioned above may be constructive. Along the years, I have noticed that my students are not fond of the idea of reading books in the classic format , but are keen on reading almost everything ( commentaries, summaries, articles, studies and even books) on the internet or on blogs. So, the classic format of books is not so popular anymore, but using multi-media in order to be informed is adopted and in a continuous increase. All these being said, I consider that being informed in a pleasant manner, being given the possibility of changing information with others, will be both attractive and useful, for everybody who will access it. I hope that this interesting and apparently new way of communication will be used by everybody in the best way possible.
Hi Laura,
RăspundețiȘtergereReally important comments you've made about the way we can use blogs. Liked your reflection very much!

Dear Laura,
RăspundețiȘtergereYour ideas about using blogs to teach are very good. Nowaydays, students prefer to use the Internet and social media tools, so using this new technologies, they will see learning as a more dynamic and interesting process.
And I agree that, keeping a blog will improve our relationship with our students.
Hi Laura
RăspundețiȘtergereGreat blog. Just loved the way you described how our students are kind of divorced from the habit of reading altogether. The same is here in India where my students would prefer to read from a Kindle rather than go to the library and pick up a book. But, I guess, as long as they read, it is fine. And technology, as you have rightly said, might turn out to be a boon.

Success to you!The best,Natalya
RăspundețiȘtergereI am sorry I wrote to you before , but my comments to Celeste appeared here.:))
RăspundețiȘtergereDear Laura! Thank you for your written "essay" that completely describes our working tasks at the second week! I enjoy reading your description and remembering about our activities not only for the "class" and mostly for our life. We can use all of these materials effectively for our teaching. The course is constructed logically (like the "tree" as you wrote) and we are moving from one step to another that couldn't be achieved without this special program and requirements in readings and assignments. Thank you for such thorough comments!
